THE CLUB

Headcorn Judo Club is a thriving judo club, based in Headcorn's fantastic village hall.

The Club was launched in 2007 and thanks to an "Awards for All" grant, has competition-grade mats and suits available for loan.  Importantly the Club is a member of the British Judo Association and thus complies with all its regulations concerning good practice and teaching standards.

The Club boasts its own Senior Club Coach, Richard Armstrong, whose judo career includes two Olympic squads as well as International/British champion status.  Richard is well known in the Judo world and fosters strong links with the BJA and other regional clubs.

Headcorn was fortunate to have a visit from the late Craig Fallon in 2013.  He was a great ambassador for the sport and is greatly missed.
